Mountain climbing is crazy. Mountain climbers are crazy. I don’t understand them, nor will I ever do what they do. And yet, I’m fascinated by the sport. So this week I found myself watching the documentary Meru, which follows three elite climbers as they attempt to conquer the Himalayan peak, experiencing various setbacks along the way.
