If Michael Douglas were President, we'd be a perfect nation. Fun loving, a down-to-earth guy, Douglas plays the ultimately positive President. Annete Bening is Sydney, a strong, comical, emotional, pivoting role in The American President and strong performances by others such as Martin Sheen, Michael J. Fox, and Richard Dreyfuss make this movie strong. Filled with rich, humorous dialog and an intriguing theme, The American President is bound to find it's way into everyone's hearts.
