Capsule Review: Funny, entertaining, and heartfelt, Brittany Runs a Marathon is one of the most overlooked films of 2019. Jillian Bell is terrific as a slightly overweight young woman who decides to turn her life around by joining a running group, only to face a new set of challenges. At times hilarious, at others somewhat sad, Brittany is an impressively told movie about discovering the only thing who can truly determine your happiness: yourself.
