Officer John McClain is waiting for his wife at the airport when terrorists take it over, and he is once again forced to save the day.

Bruce Willis is back as John McClain, and this time he is in a Washington, D.C. airport waiting for his wife to land. Before she can, terrorists take over the airport and take control of the command tower, disallowing the planes to land. In a race against time, McClain has to stop the terrorists before the circling planes run out of fuel and crash, and before the terrorists get away with their goal.
