Dr. Dolittle has it all: A wonderful career, a beautiful wife, and two daughters. He also is on the verge of signing a gigantic financial deal with a company. Then it all falls apart. Suddenly, his ability to understand animals is unleashed and everywhere he goes, they are talking to him. People think he's gone crazy, but the animals adore him. Finally, there is someone that can understand their pain, and cure it. Passing word among one another, the animals come to Dr. Dolittle, asking for assistance, but, in the process, drives him to a mental hospital. Nevertheless, his love towards his family and oath to a diseased tiger drives him to venture onward, even if it means risking his career and reputation.

MOVIE REVIEW

What happens when Babe meets Eddie Murphy and more adult humor? We get Dr. Dolittle, a Murphy-style update of the old animal doctor movies. Great graphics, hilarious comedy, and Eddie Murphy make this a worthwhile film, although the the talking animals - especially Chris Rock's - get annoying real fast.
