Ryan Tyler, 10, has traveled to China to visit his father, Michael, whom is a naturalist specializing in pandas. Michael preoccupied with work, Ryan tries to tag along. One day, while out in the forest with a girl named Ling, they witness poachers trapping a mother with a new baby. They save the baby panda, but not before they are carried down river. Now, in a strange land with strange surroundings, they must find their way back, taking the playful panda with them.

MOVIE REVIEW

Gosh, with a name like The Amazing Panda Adventure, this movie has to be great, right? Well, the panda is incredibly cute. That's about as much as I can say for this "boy and his dog" movie. Lame little jokes, boring stuff, more boring stuff, even more boring stuff, and lack of originality surprisingly make the movie wore than the title.
